So I have posted in more than two months? Not cool but I'm back. Life's just been busy and too sum it up, pretty damn shitty. But things are better now and I feel like blogging. Lately, I've been pretty stoked for the Terminator sequel coming out 5:21:09. I've made some purty things to put my excitment/energy to art. It's all conserning John and Kate (they're basically my rejuvenated OTP because Christian Bale and Bryce Dallas Howard is pretty awesome) though, no Marcus and no Barnes. Text on some of the icons aren't that great but other than that I think that it's pretty okay.

Just finished watching 'Requiem' and I couldn't be more upset. I know that the Clana break up was coming and I was so ready for it but the writers choose to end it by force? WTF? Clark shouldn't be forced to break up with Lana, he should want to willing. I just despise this relationship to the nth degree. I just feel like when Lana's around, Clark's maturity and growth flies out of the window. Why not let him end it with her because he realizes that he no longer is in love with her.
This pisses me off as both a Cloiser and a Superman fan. Lana Lang is not supposed to have super powers and be infused with green kryptonite--she's the next Martha Kent for pete's sake. Her destiny doesn't go beyond that.
Also a forced break-up makes Lois look like second best because Clark couldn't be with Lana. Please, writers, at the beginning of this season you showed me that Clark has interest in Lois and that should have been the deciding factor in him parting ways with Lana. That and the fact that he needs to become Superman and move on from his teenage dreams of the ordinary life.

This is my first picspam and I've been meaning to share these images for a while. They're from Cold Case 6.09 Pin-Up Girl. I love this show and how unique it is and it always has the prettiest colors, especially the period episodes that take place in the 50s, 60s and so on. I took the screencaps and I colorized them but they're pretty close to the originals. I added the ones in black & white because the actresses' had the best expression in them. I apologize for the LJ Cut, I don't know why it refuses to let me hide the pics.

I like Beyonce but I love her tonight. Her rendition of 'At Last' was absolutely beautiful and the first couple dancing to it was amazing. Michelle/Barack is OTP!

So I just watched the episode 'Legion' for Smallville. I know I'm a day late but yesterday I chose make-up work over Smallville *dodges rotten tomatoes*. I was not disappointed. It just reminded why I love Superman and comic book heroes in general. The Legion was fantastic and had great,believable chemistry. I would even go as far as to say that their chemistry is better than that among the Justice League. I loved Cosmic Boy's leadership, Saturn Girl's heart and Lightning Lad's humor. They were just an excellent team. I'd love to see them in a future episode.
Pros:
- Clark finding an alternative to beat Brainiac, keeping with his code not to kill
- The references to the fan perspective - "No tights, no flight?" "Where's the cape?"
- Allison Mack rocked as Brainiac
- Mention of Chloe not being in the history books - I love Chloe, trust me I do but I still can't see her surviving that far into Clark's future.
- Lightning Lad being such a Superman fanboy, too cute
- The super effects of the Legion
- Chloe getting back her memory
- Cosmic Boy being such a noble leader. I'm glad that he wasn't extremely cocky and self-assured. Clark was able to teach him a thing or two
- Mention of Lois/Jimmy
- Doomsday at the end
- Lana - sorry Lana fans, I like nothing about her. She's only tolerable around Lex and since he isn't here...
- Didn't like the implication that Lana is a major part of why Clark becomes Superman

Tom Brady is getting engaged and I'm not too happy about it. I'm happy for him and I hope he and Giselle are happy together but I kinda wanted him for myself :( So today another dream for me has died. I just hope she isn't for him what Jessica is for Tony.
I'm heading back to school tomorrow and not too excited about it. It's not going back to the schoolwork that depresses me but having to hack in classes and breath heavy after short walks is embarassing. Being sick sucks the biggest balls.

So this past Thursday I was shivering in my first two classes (chattering teeth included) and the nurse told me that I had a fever, so I went home early. And since then it's just been horrible. I wake up with a fever every morning, every time I swallow I feel like my throat's being slit and last night I actually cried because I felt so weak and couldn't get up the stairs. My mom thinks it's the flu and it's better if I just wait it out and I agree because I don't want a flu shot but I want some kind of miracle medicine pronto.
I'm going to try to reply to most of the posts on my f-list though because I feel so out of the loop.
Also I really, REALLY want some Joe Jonas/Hayley Williams rpf! Random, right? I know and I absolutely love the idea but I can't write this to save my life. I was not kidding when I said that I love unconventional pairings. My birthday's Feb. 26th ;)
Sick time gave me some time to catch up on some YT and can I just say how much I miss *NSYNC? They turn me into such a girl :P
